Often the tiniest details--a shadow, a drop of water, a spot of unexpected color--can become the entire focus.
Palette

I was the kid who wanted "be an artist" when I grew up. Instead, I fed my search for beauty with a summer job at a greenhouse and focused my attention on a Marketing degree. But after 20 years in corporate America, I started searching for a new way to find beauty... to turn passion into pleasure.

I love to think about what makes an iris... a ginkgo... a goldenrod... all distinctly unique. Flowers can be so closely tied to memories (thank you, Grandma, for the lilies of the valley, and mom for the gladiolas and daffodils), and they can also convey meaning when words alone are difficult.
I hope you enjoy my examination into those themes by way of botanical watercolors.
